1. What We Are
CoastalGlassRailing.com ("the Utility," "we," "us") is a free lead-referral and information utility serving homeowners, HOAs, and property managers in San Diego County, California who are researching glass railing and glass balustrade installation. We are not a licensed glass fabrication, installation, engineering, or contracting firm, and we do not fabricate, sell, template, or install glass railing. We connect visitors with independent, third-party local glass railing contractors ("Partners") to provide quotes and perform the work.
2. Lead-Referral Disclosure — Independent Local Contractors, Not Employees
When you submit a request through this site, your information (name, phone, email, ZIP, project type, system preference, linear footage, timeline, and any notes) is shared with one or more Partner firms, who may contact you directly to scope the project and provide a quote. This is a free service to you. We may receive a referral fee from a Partner for connecting you to them — this does not affect the price you are quoted, and you are never obligated to hire any Partner who contacts you.
3. Not Engineering, Code, or Compliance Advice
Guardrail height, baluster spacing, pool-barrier requirements, and permit rules referenced on this site are general summaries drawn from published California Building Code and local ordinance sources and may not reflect the current code in your jurisdiction or the specific facts of your property. Nothing on this site is engineering, legal, or code-compliance advice, and no professional relationship is created by using this Utility. Confirm requirements for your specific project with your local building department and your licensed contractor before construction begins.
4. No Guarantee of Outcome; No Verification of Every Engagement
We do not evaluate your property, inspect your deck or structure, or determine what system, permit, or code path applies to your project. We do not guarantee any project outcome, quote accuracy, installation quality, or inspection result. While we make reasonable efforts to work with appropriately licensed Partners, we do not independently verify contractor license status, bonding, or insurance on every single engagement, and we are not liable for the quality, timeliness, or outcome of any work performed by a Partner. Always verify a contractor's California license (search the CSLB license lookup) and current insurance before signing a contract.
5. Information We Collect & How It's Used
We collect the information you submit via our forms (name, contact information, property ZIP, project type, system preference, linear footage, timeline, and optional notes) and standard analytics data (IP address, device, referrer). This is used solely to route your request to an appropriate Partner and to improve our matching service. We do not sell your data to unrelated third parties.
6. Your Choices
You may ask us to stop sharing your information with additional Partners, or to delete your submitted information, at any time by emailing us at the address below. We will process removal requests within a reasonable time.
